      Hello,

      Yeah, we are aware of this problem. Confirmed the error in all browsers (chrome, firefox, edge) but no error on Netflix windows 10 app changing bitrate works fine there

      the error message “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘join’ of undefined cadmium-playercore-5.0008.193.011.js:13852”

      I contacted Netflix support again and we just need to make some noise and get attention to force them fix this fast

      I can’t change video bitrate manually like I used to do before in chrome or firefox or edge browsers.

      When I click CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+S to get the change bitrate panel I can’t click the button “override” and I get this error in the browser console>>> Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘join’ of undefined cadmium-playercore-5.0008.193.011.js:13852

      Please fix this ASAP.

      Yeah, they just give you this answer to end the conversation. we still can change the bitrate in windows 10 Netflix app and it works fine.

      Also, you still can change the bitrate to the max not less so if they don't allow to change it anymore why we still access it and change the last bitrate and not less?!

      you can find the error in the console press f12 in chrome then go to the console tab, the error will show after you select the bitrate.

      about the Netflix chat agents you know they are not the developer my chat agent told me this feature meant for Netflix developer team and we can't offer support for that.

      but I'm sure like any other company when so many customers ask about something, not in their support chat script they tell it to the management and the management will tell the developers.

      a similar problem happened a couple of weeks ago and thanks to many users, they fixed the bug.

        Here we go again! I was working on the new version 3.0.0 and I’m sure everything was fine and suddenly 20 minutes ago a new error show when you change the bitrate

        Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘join’ of undefined cadmium-playercore-5.0008.193.011.js:13852

        Also, I found a way to avoid the error, when you choose the highest bitrate possible it will work fine and you don’t see any errors, It only happens when you choose smaller bitrate value

        So confirmed it seems like a bug and must be fixed by Netflix developers.

        1. Netflix doesn't support Silverlight anymore only html5 and the problem was a bug in javascript file called cadmium-playercore-5.0008.004.011.js and this file is hosted on Netflix servers.

        2. Thanks for your offer a new UI already was designed and It will be shipped soon with a major update and a new useful tool for the video player and some fixed bugs.

        sorry for the late reply I didn't get any nonfiction on new comments for compleated post.

        I don't know what is happening now but I was working on the new 3.0.0 version and I'm hours away from releasing it and suddenly 20 minutes ago Netflix doesn't work when you change the bitrate and I get a new error "TypeError: k.XC is undefined [Learn More] cadmium-playercore-5.0008.193.051.js:13728:6" I don't know if this was another mistake wait to be fixed on their side or it was intentional to disable this feature :(

        @Zednet Its on Netflix side. because it was fixed on its own. I didn't update Super Netflix since 9 days now and I'm currently working on a new update to remove the "NOT WORKING ALERT" and I will fix some other bugs I found and if there is time maybe new UI icons

        @Zednet Nope, same error on all browsers, not just chrome. the bug in this javascript file "cadmium-playercore-5.0008.004.011.js" line 6888 and this file hosted on Netflix and only Netflix can fix this bug. I don't know if this was a mistake by the developers of Netflix or it was intentional to disable this function for users!

        @abdullah Yeah same as they said to me. but if they see so many customers ask about it I think they might bring it back. some people with limited internet data plans want to watch Netflix on low and not consuming a lot of data. So guys keep going ask them to fix it back.

        @Zednet yeah and this is not the first function they disable, I don't know it was accended or by mistake but it seems like a bug in the console. they disabled also any changes you do in the video play time and as soon as you change the time you get this error https://help.netflix.com/en/node/66763 so Super Netflix can't rewind or forward videos again like before and I'm not sure why they disable such a function especially when they don't offer these functions in the player

            We gonna release update as soon as they release the new look to all users. I didn't get the new look yet on my account, but we aware there is a change is coming to Netflix's player.

            For now, try this solution:

            Go to this page https://www.netflix.com/DoNotTest and toggle the toggle OFF

            If the new design still showing for you please let me know.

                I've changed the language for the submission "Tokyo!" to German instead of french.

                If this happens again, please tell us, It might happen only if the language use Unicode for another language and this is a rare situation.

                        Adding subtitles works only with computers It can't (yet) works with TV, Mobile Apps, Roku or any other streaming method.

                        We need from Netflix to support adding subtitles, we need many Netflix customers to tell them to support it.

                          Netflix doesn't support UHD or 4K on any browser.

                          Maybe some content support UHD *I'm not sure* on the Netflix windows 10 app, Use Google for more info.

                            Sorry but Netflix doesn't support API to make changes in the video player, If only there is a keyboard buttons to seek forward or backward then we can support it.
