  3. Adjustment for subtitle position

Would it be possible to adjust vertical positioning of subtitles? When watching cinemascope movies the subtitles are partly on the non-active picture area and on a cinemascope screen the lower line of subtitles is not visible.

    Thanks!

  5. add a feature which displays timestamp

Great little extension, would it be possible to add a feature which displays the videos timestamp in the top or bottom corner?

  6. Better UX

Hi, I am maintainer of http://lingvo.tv. I have got lots of feature requests to support more languages.

I have tried subflicks, it is a great start, however it is still too complicated for a regular user. You could provide a much better experience by enabling a subtitles search interface directly over netflix UI + you could offer an adjuster for subtitles start so that user can fix it right in the movie.

  7. Ability to change resolution as well as quality.

Currently, the Super Netflix extension for Chrome allow changing the streaming quality (audio and video bitrate), but Chrome is still stuck with a maximum resolution of 1280x720 or "720p". Other browsers, including IE (ewww) and Safari support 1920x1080 or "1080p". It would be nice to convince Netflix to give Chrome users the same treat.

  11. Video has no subtitle button

The video on Netflix has no alternate audio or subtitle options so on the control panel at the bottom there is no subtitle button, so how do I select the subtitle I added .

  12. Move the Options window up

With the mouse cursor seemingly on the "Override" button, clicking then causes seeking, not overriding the bitrates. This won't happen if you never touched the Chrome or Windows settings that makes graphical components and texts magnified, though, I wish this might be fixed.

  15. Why can't I change the uploading language ?

When I upload a subtitle and I want to share it to the community, the uploading language is stuck on French and I cannot change it.
Hopefully, I only uploaded french subs so far. But I want also contribute in other languages.

If I'm not the only one in this situation, please comment.

  16. Ability to have multiple subtitles on one video (for multilingual people)

Make it possible to have multiple subtitles on one video (for multilingual people)

Those that speak more than one language would like to see more than just one subtitle. It's a great way to improve your language knowledge.

  17. Simplify dfxp upload

Many internet srt subtitles have more than a timing problem. Your website only allows a time shift of the whole subtitle file. Then you have a complicated way of adding the file which I sort of understand. The first step is to download an srt file which I am not even working with except before the conversion. I use Jubler. It does that simple time shift and srt2dfxp conversion and it can edit subtitles and change the timing on existing subtitles. I end up with a subtitle that is better than the one that I have downloaded as an srt.…

  18. Allow searching by subtitle language AND Netflix region

It would be great to have an "advanced search" function so that we could search multiple criteria at once, for example, looking for subtitles in a particular language AND in a particular region. Currently, I search for subtitles in one language, but get results in a variety of regions that don't always correspond to what's available in mine.

  19. Allow sorting by upload date

Please add a way to sort by upload date so that we can search under a particular language and see the most recently uploaded subtitles. It is a pain to have to search through all of the subtitles in a particular language just to identify any new uploads!

  20. Different timing Linux and Windows using Chrome

I use Linux Mint 17.1 with the Chrome browser. I timed several movies and posted them. On my Linux Computer I tested them and the timing was pretty good. I downloaded them to a Windows 7 computer and ran them in Chrome and the timing was off. No explanations of why except that the operating system must be affecting the timing. There should be a place to edit updated information on posted subtitles and remove the subtitles when necessary.
